A reflection and display of my work after spending my final co-op semester as a Graphic Design Co-op at MSA Design in Cincinnati, Ohio.

PRINT & DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN

OVERVIEW

During my last co-op semester at MSA Design, I worked on the Graphics team & wore many hats while working on every aspect of the design process.

I created interview presentations & proposal documents for prospective clients, ADA-compliant wayfinding & signage, environmental graphics, fabrication artwork, bid documents, and print & digital assets for the marketing team. I served clients of varying markets including sport, workplace, parks & recreation, & education.

I extensively researched clientele to provide helpful benchmarking imagery, inviting them to think about how their brand could be implemented within their space. I also represented MSA on a client visit by gathering materials for & facilitating an in-person workshop to pinpoint exactly what design solutions the client needs to succeed.

Because of the timeline of experiential graphic design projects & limited time spent at MSA, the majority of my work was to support the team on projects at various stages. One body complete body of work is the firm’s annual holiday mailer that is sent to clients & consultants, updating them on the accomplishments & activities of the firm that year. This campaign came alive with a printed mailer, social media campaign & an animated short to show our appreciation for our clients.

This work was done in collaboration with Hannah Williams, Graphic Designer at MSA, and fellow graphics co-op Hannah LoGalbo. Animated short by Munazza Aijaz. Final photos were taken by Tyler Gentry.

A Message From Marketing: The Gift of Giving Back

As the holiday season closes, it offers a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate. For all of us at MSA Design, 2024 has been a remarkable year—a year marked by purpose, growth, and inspiration. Whether we’ve been designing spaces that unite communities, collaborating with visionary clients, or celebrating the incredible talents of our team, every moment has deepened our commitment to the people and places we serve.

Content

Each face of the mailer was carefully positioned & planned so that the recipient could interact with the mailer and send the postcards to their own families & friends.

Structural Ideation

In order to ensure a clean & compact format before we landed on the self-sealing final die line, co-op Hannah LoGalbo & I brainstormed on how we could package the postcards for minimal damage in transit.
