A seasonal mobile pop-up tour capturing the joy of instax FUJIFILM products across three cities on the West Coast.

Under my team’s art direction, I helped create the event identity, dome covering, experiential graphics, giveaway items, and all digital promotion for the entire pop-up tour.

What is the Capture the Joy Tour?

The instax Capture the Joy Tour was a series of FUJIFILM pop-up events that traveled to 15+ different cities, creating colorful, immersive experiences where people could explore, try out Instax cameras and smartphone printers, and make memories through photo-taking activities like personalizing frames and entering giveaways.

Footprint Approach & Refresh Overview

Building on the summer tour’s success, the "Capture the Joy Holiday Tour" utilized a redesigned inflatable dome featuring updated thematic walls and seasonal signage. The refreshed environment offered a curated journey of discovery and play, enhanced by new exterior photo ops and winter-themed decor. Guests captured memories using instax FUJIFILM cameras and received a holiday sticker sheet, custom tote bag, and a personalized film frame as take-home keepsakes

Brand Strategy

Guests were transported into a sparkling snow-globe winter wonderland, adding nostalgia and magic to the Capture the Joy Tour.

Signature summer-tour elements—vibrant color, glowing details, and ornate type—returned with a festive holiday twist, layered with winter-inspired graphics and warm lighting that elevated the seasonal atmosphere. The joy of gifting was celebrated through playful, photo-ready experiences inspired by instax.

Activation

This year’s tour travelled around the West Coast, activating in three different cities in three different markets.

The Capture the Joy Holiday Tour popped up at The Plaza at Yerba Buena Lane in San Francisco, California, Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Classic Christmas in Houston, Texas.
